Kelly/Henry family collection

The images below are supplied by Marilyn Kelly, granddaughter of Francis (Frank) Henry, who took the photos in the years running up to 1914.

Frank was a regular crew member of Windward, built in Wellington in 1910. His step-brother was a shareholder at the time. He said that the Port Nicholson Yacht Club was a lot of fun and a good place to meet girls (looks like he was right on that score in one of the images below).

He went away to WWI, and didn't participate in sailing afterward, due to injuries sustained in France.

Images below include Lizzie, Viola, Windward, Wairere II, Waitangi, Ruihi, perhaps Ethel, and some others not identified yet.
