Shorland collection

This collection is shared with us by Anne Gambrill whose grandfather William Perry Shorland had a share in the Nanette during the late 1920s. His father John Shorland built the launch Rehutai at Island Bay and launched her in 1912.

The majority of the images below date from 1928/1929, and show Nanette in Wellington and the Marlborough Sounds. The image of the launch Rehutai is pre WWII, and the pic of the unknown Patiki type is also of an unknown date, but probably before or during, WWI.
